Lauri Aitonurmi, le bassiste du groupe finlandais RUINSIDE, est décédé le 14 décembre dernier des suites d'un accident de voiture.
Communiqué officiel du groupe : "R.I.P. Lauri Aitonurmi - Our beloved friend and bassist Lauri Aitonurmi passed away on December 14th 2012 in a car accident. We will remember him as a very bright person who always shared good spirit around him. Ruinside wants to wish strength and hope for Lauri’s family, his wife and little boy. Bha, ce morceaux m'amuse avec son riff de clavier qui sonne assez comiquo-parodique, quelque chose de décontracté et assumé dans le grotesque gothique (au sens littérale du terme) style King Diamond.
C'est une ambiance, un contexte. Il ne laisse pas indifférent.
Personnellement, j'aime bien de temps en temps, mais de la a faire partie de l'engouement frénétique qu'a suscité le premier album, il y a un monde.

...mais rassurez-vous, seulement son édition anglaise, d'ailleurs pour la deuxième année consécutive! Les éditions 2013 à Amnéville (et Milan en Italie) sont maintenues.
La raison serait la difficulté de trouver des headliners du calibre des éditions précédentes. Le communiqué du Sonisphère UK est le suivant : "the three Sonisphere Festivals to date at Knebworth in 2009/2010/2011 set a very high standard and indeed 2011 was voted the best festival line up by The UK Festival Awards. We think it is really important that the event only runs when it has a line up that sets it apart from the competition whilst also carrying a ticket price that allows us to offer real value for money to the music fans. We were hoping to do that in 2013 but unfortunately it wasn't possible to fulfil both aims with the principle problem of there being a lack of available headliners of the calibre of previous festivals at Knebworth. @ennemie: mais moi j'ai fais 2011 et 2012, avec au final un grand plaisir! des couacs, des trucs de merde mais aussi d'excellents moments! Faith no more, metallica, Mastodon, meshuggah et bien d'autres...
Désolé que ça te titille ainsi l'anus, mais c'est comme ça! et je me permet de rajouter qu'au bout de 20 ans d'amour du métal, des dizaines de concerts devant (et sur la scène!) et une discothèque bien fournie, je n'ai aucune leçon à recevoir en la matière!

A part la sortie du parking, le soni de 2011 est un très bon souvenir pour moi (j'ai pas dormi sur le béton...). Par rapport aux premiers DYNAMO OPEN AIR à Eindhoven ou les 1ers Donington, c'était même le Ritz! Et voir Faith no more cette année, exceptionnel.

Très bonne édition 2012 (merci Faith No More) mais je reste également sur un sentiment d'amertume pour l'année précédente et je me demande encore par quel miracle il n'y ai pas eu de drame humain avec une telle agitation...
Ce n'est pas tant une question d'organisation mais bien d'endroit totalement inadapté pour un évènement de la sorte, et j'ai bien peur que 2013 soit un remake de 2011 !

Nouvelle annonce le 27/12 pour le Soni France, vu qu'il y a un album de Tool qui sort cette année, Alice In Chains aussi, peut être bin...
+1 AK 47->Y'a une bande de pleureuses qui ne savent pas ce qu'ils perdent, ils auraient moins faits les marioles devant Faith No More l'an dernier, juste sublime et au dessus de tout, comme cette année avec MAIDEN de la belle époque, SLAYER au top et j'en passe, y'a des jalouses ou c'est peut être les régles douloureuses???? En tout cas, le Soni n'est pas traité comme le Hellfest dans le coin, personne ne parle de l'annonce du 27/12, et comme si le pass à 160 euros du Hellfest c'était pas aussi du fric ??????? Ils gagnent combien les petits groupes qui jouent au Hellfest ? Lauri Aitonurmi, le bassiste du groupe finlandais RUINSIDE, est décédé le 14 décembre dernier des suites d'un accident de voiture.

Les suédois de OVERTORTURE vont en effet sortir leur premier album, le 25 janvier 2013, via le soutiens de Apostasy Records. Et ils vous proposent de découvrir le premier extrait de cet album, dans le détail de la news.
Le groupe, formé par d'anciens membres de GRAVE, COLDWORKER et INSISION, évolue dans un style de Death Metal relativement violent, et accrocheur. L'album se nomme "At the End the Dead Await", il a été auto-produit, et mixé/masterisé par Ola Englund (SIX FEET UNDER).

...mais rassurez-vous, seulement son édition anglaise, d'ailleurs pour la deuxième année consécutive! Les éditions 2013 à Amnéville (et Milan en Italie) sont maintenues.
La raison serait la difficulté de trouver des headliners du calibre des éditions précédentes. Le communiqué du Sonisphère UK est le suivant : "the three Sonisphere Festivals to date at Knebworth in 2009/2010/2011 set a very high standard and indeed 2011 was voted the best festival line up by The UK Festival Awards. We think it is really important that the event only runs when it has a line up that sets it apart from the competition whilst also carrying a ticket price that allows us to offer real value for money to the music fans. We were hoping to do that in 2013 but unfortunately it wasn't possible to fulfil both aims with the principle problem of there being a lack of available headliners of the calibre of previous festivals at Knebworth. Tant mieux, dommage que ça ne soit pas annulé aussi a Amnéville, vu leur orga qui sent de la raie, et leur programmation pourrie, je me demande comment ce festoche peut vivre.
(Surement car une catégorie de personnes se disant afficionados du "metal" ne sont en fait que des fans de Metallica et Slipknot.)

Ils se sont rendus compte que si t'as pas au moins 2 groupes parmi Metallica, Rammstein, Maiden, Sabbath et Slipknot tu peux pas prétendre proposer les plus grosses affiches au monde ?
Quelle surprise...
M'enfin bon, c'est triste car ça confirme que quand le festival aura lieu, on verra chaque paire d'année les mêmes gros groupes uisque si on ne les a pas le festoche ne se fait pas...
Il serait temps de viser au delà du simple metal et de ne pas avoir peur de taper dans des trucs du genre RHCP, Foo Fighters, Green Day, ... non pas que je sois fan mais je parle juste en terme d'affluence.

Lauri Aitonurmi, le bassiste du groupe finlandais RUINSIDE, est décédé le 14 décembre dernier des suites d'un accident de voiture.
Communiqué officiel du groupe : "R.I.P. Lauri Aitonurmi - Our beloved friend and bassist Lauri Aitonurmi passed away on December 14th 2012 in a car accident. We will remember him as a very bright person who always shared good spirit around him. Ruinside wants to wish strength and hope for Lauri’s family, his wife and little boy.
