What was wrong yesterday? Did they have to close the venue on 22:30h or why weren't you able to perform? I'm realy pissed off, because I mainly came to see Scarve play! Waiting hours in front of the hall for a fucking 70mins performance of Meshuggah...they ARE getting old or what? At least they could have given us some more...
Really sorry about all this, that was a sad evening.

Hey man,
Yeah, everything was fucked up in Bochum and this is the reason why we couldn't play. There are a few words on our site about the whole situation, but I'll explain it again here...
The venue (Riff) indeed had a strict curfew at 22:30. When Meshuggah arrived (around 14:00 in the afternoon), the entire local soundsystem still had to be loaded in and installed, which took several hours and delayed their soundcheck. On top of that, there were quite a few technical problems as well, so we basically started installing our stuff on stage at the time when the doors were initially supposed to open. Only one local crew member was helping our soundguy with the patch, which was totally fucked up, and as a result, we weren't even done when the doors opened about 20 minutes later. We hoped to at least play 5 or 6 songs when suddenly we heard we had to clear the stage in less than 10 minutes because of the curfew... so we had no choice but to pack our stuff and leave. Most people were still entering the venue at that time, and it would have been totally ridiculous to play 2 songs with a fucked up sound and vocals missing.
We feel very bad about this incident, because we really wanted to play a decent show and a lot of people came to see us ; and also because we lost a whole day, as well as hotel and gas money for nothing. After many phonecalls, the promoter agreed to give us a small fee in compensation, but still it wasn't a fun night in Bochum. Our apologies to all of you who came to see us, and hopefully, we'll be back in the area soon to make up for this!
