The Legions of Metal Festival is proud to announce Leathürbitch as the next band to be playing the second stage.

This new band is from Portland, OR and this will be their first time playing the Mid-West.
Featuring members of Spellcaster and Demon's Bell and various other Portland acts, Leathürbitch have the perfect 80's vibe without sounding forced.
Having heard the newly recorded material, I can easily say this is a band to keep an eye on in 2018.
We are thrilled to have them on the fest, so see them now so you can all say you saw them when they were a small band.

The Legions of Metal Festival is excited to announce the last band for the second stage...
WHITE BOY AND THE AVERAGE RAT BAND.
This cult act released their album in 1981 and it has been a highly sought after record.
Now the band is back and the Heaven and Hell Records re-issue is out on vinyl and CD and the band is active again playing shows.
They recently just did a West Coast tour and played a few shows on the East coast, so it only makes it a must have for the Mid West show to be at Legions.
Don't miss out on seeing this legendary band live in Chicago at Reggies at the Legions of Metal Festival in May.

Due to reasons out of everyone's control HEIR APPARENT have to step down from playing the festival this year.
This was a big blow since we were really excited to have this band playing this year.
We have the replacement band set and will announce in the next hour and we are very grateful these guys were able to step in so late to save the day.

Q5 will be returning to Chicago for a special "Steel the Light" set.
This classic act from Seattle has been making lots of waves as of late with the latest album "New World Order" and now the soon to be re-issued first album "Steel The Light" in the summer.
With a busy summer in Europe for them they were kind enough to step in last minute to help us out.
So get ready to Steal the Light and welcome Q5 to the festival.

The Legions of Metal Festival is happy to announce that ANCIENT SEANCE will be playing the fest in May.
For those who are fans of epic metal and doom will really dig this one.
They will be kicking things off on the second stage so make sure you stop on in to check out this great new act.
