Gildenlöw a beau être en bonne voie de rétablissement, il semblerait que Hasse Fröberg et Roine Stolt assureront seuls les lignes de chant sur les morceaux d'"Unfold the Future" et "Adam & Eve" :

[...]Wow, only now do I fully understand how naïve my initial hopes were – to be able to make it to the tours.[...]

Quant à la 1ère partie, il paraît évident que Ragnar Zolberg et Roger Öjersson se partageront l'intégralité des partitions vocales.

Même chose pour TRANSATLANTIC donc.

We are delighted to announce that Sound Of Contact will join The Flower Kings on part two of their forthcoming European Tour and open the show on the following dates:

Déjà vus en ouverture de SPOCK'S BEARD la dernière fois à La Scène Bastille, pour mémoire.

On trouve notamment en leurs rangs de certains John Wesley (FISH, PORCUPINE TREE, MIKE TRAMP), et Simon Collins, non pas fils de Mel mais de Phil.

"Due to the recent medical condition of singer/frontman Daniel Gildenlöw of PAIN OF SALVATION, he has to stay home for yet some time, hospitalized, supervised and sedated. (send him your prayers and love) Daniel will be taken to surgery on March 17th after a nasty and serious attack from non-prog-loving-flesh-eating-bacteria earlier this year. The situation is serious but no longer lifethreatening.

We've all been waiting to see the light of this tunnel - hoping that he could still join us for the Flower Kings tour this spring but fate had other plans for your favourite singer.

We've searched for a worthy replacement - someone or something that may fill the void and we think that you will be equally thrilled to see our friends in KARMAKANIC and for the last week of the tour SOUND OF CONTACT.

KARMAKANIC should be a familiar name to all of you in Flower Kings land - Sound Of Contact is a new prog band fronted by Simon Collins - The band play a modern and dense,textured music - epic and bordering to both Marillion, Porcupine Tree and late 70's Genesis. No surprise as Simon is the son of Phil Collins - drummer, writer & singer too. "Like father like son..."

As much as we will miss Daniel we hope this will all cheer you up - for those who have tickets we ask your understanding and for those who have not yet - we assure you this will be - what we hope - another great double bill - as we still swirl from the Flower Kings & Neal Morse Band combo tour last year."

J'ai une amie qui a acheté sa place juste pour Gildenlow et qui du coup n'est plus très motivée pour y aller, vous savez pas si l'orga compte faire quelque chose ?

Pour un événement nommé Gildenlow & friends, ça change quand même pas mal la donne :/
