Content de pouvoir voir BATTLEAXE, qui n'avaient pas pu jouer l'an dernier (on attend toujours la reprogrammation de HOLOSADE d'ailleurs...), cela dit.
BLITZKRIEG également dans une autre mesure, mais il faut admettre que ces derniers (lesquels, jouant à 20 bornes de Newcastle le premier soir l'édition précédente, n'avaient pas jugé pertinent de venir participer le lendemain...) font plus que pâle figure en guise de remplacement.
Et même si j'aime beaucoup ces jeunes groupes, on est en droit de se demander ce que foutent CAULDRON et VOLTURE aussi haut sur une affiche estampillée

So we bring you some bad news to start the day, you may or may not have seen already that PAGAN ALTAR have cancelled playing live, apart from the bands Portugal gig this weekend, due to “personal circumstances”. Of course this is a massive blow for us, the promoters, and the fans! Also DARK HEART have cancelled due issues finding a stable lineup - we hope Phil and co can get it together for next time! Sorry but we tried our hardest to get it to work! More info soon!"

Unfortunately we we're informed today by Bro Britton that TRAPPAZAT will be pulling out of Brofest and we not being playing live ever again. Full statement ""It's a shame, but the TRAPPAZAT reunion isn't going to happen now..........With Bry living in Crete now, it's proving difficult to get everyone committed to a rehearsal schedule. We could all think "fuck it" have a few hours practice and do the show, but we all know how that would sound.. so that's that......I'm hopeful that at some point, Max, Spen, and myself can get together here in West Wales to do some recording next year, and maybe get Bry over to add his magic, but as for ever playing together again, it's not going to happen...........live the dream everyone...." Bad News Bros - "Regretfully due to illness RITUAL are unable to appear this year at Brofest. We sincerely apologise to all fans who were coming to see the band.
Phil Mason founder bassist has been in hospital several times this year with complications from a virus he contracted in Qatar. We hoped as the year progressed he would be fit enough to play, but alas it was not to be. Although he is now recovering well, he unfortunately is not well enough to travel or perform. RITUAL without the original line up, and using unrehearsed replacements, would not be respectful to our many fans. Nevertheless we hope everyone has a great fest -

So apologies to everyone about this, this is obviously a huge disappointment for us too. We wish Phil a speedy recovery and hope he is fit and well again soon!
