Originaire d'Allemagne, Caliban délivre un metalcore juste et aiguisé depuis 1997, rappelant parfois As I Lay Dying, August Burns Red ou encore Bleeding Through. Le groupe est très vite repéré et signe sur Lifeforce Records (Trivium, All That Remains, Heaven Shall Burn) dès 1998 avec leur premier EP. Caliban entame alors de nombreuses tournées en Europe avec des groupes comme Bleeding Trough, Morning Again et Earth Crisis. Au fil des années et des albums le groupe a su s'imposer sur la scène metalcore européenne, et s'est même fait un nom aux Etats-Unis au travers de nombreuses collaborations (Killswitch Engage, In Flames). Caliban se produira à Paris cet automne pour défendre son nouvel album "Say Hello To Tragedy", sortit en Août dernier chez Century Media Records (Lacuna Coil, Shadows Fall, Despised Icon). En première partie, The Bridal Procession qui présentera des morceaux de son nouvel album! Et la toute nouvelle sortie (distribution) de Season Of Mist (Dillinger Escape Plan, Dagoba, Cynic..), les lillois de Klang!!!
