Danish metallers VOLBEAT have released the following statement:

"As you all could read on various websites, VOLBEAT were invited to be part of the IN FLAMES European tour this fall.

"It was a great honor to be asked to share stage with these guys. We are very thankful but in the last days we decided not to do this tour, 'cause of different terms/teasons which not benefits the band the right way.

"We know that is was a great opportunity, but we felt like we need to do it on our own and not on terms of other people. We need to promote the upcoming record in the best way for us right now. So don't be disappointed because we are working on our own tour for 2008 right now.You will get 100% VOLBEAT instead of 50%.

"Watch out for the dates and we hope to see and meet you all during the festival season."
